Team Cabin

The idea for a Cannabis Store in Fairmont didn’t happen until Covid affected our lives. Opening a business in the midst of a pandemic is a risk, but myself and partners Lee Klas and Sacha Elwakeel saw an opportunity in Fairmont and began working toward our goal of opening a shop in town. We all believe in the benefits that Cannabis can offer and we are happy to contribute to the growth and success of our community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide our guests with high quality Cannabis products in a safe and welcoming space.

We strongly believe that Cannabis products can help people in a variety of ways and we are happy to educate customers about the potential benefits that Cannabis can offer. Whether you’re in the market for THC, or CBD
products, we have something for everyone!

Introducing Our Secret Weapon

The Cabin Cannabis Team

Owners Lee Klas, Sacha Elwakeel and Chris Jaunzemis saw an opportunity in Fairmont Hot Springs and began working toward our goal of opening a shop in town. We and our team are here to help you find the products that best suit your needs!

Meet Chris!

(The guy you will see manning front desk most often)

“A little about myself. I grew up on a small farm in Ontario. Living in a rural area gave me an appreciation for the outdoors and nature, which lead me to Carleton University where I obtained a degree in Environmental Studies and Geography. Following my studies I spent time working with Environment Canada before venturing to Vancouver where I was fortunate enough to work with a company called Sylvis Environmental.
After living in Vancouver for 4 years I got the itch to travel and obtained a working holiday visa for Australia. Three and a half years later I returned to Canada after spending 2 years in Australia, a year in New Zealand and 2 stints traveling around Southeast Asia. I was drawn back to BC at the recommendation of a friend who lived in Fairmont Hot Springs.

Over 3 years later I am still here and have made this area
home.”

Relax and unwind, you’re on Cabin time
